About Us
Regency Homes Ltd is a Company providing Administration for business and care for our small group of Care Homes. We have been established in North Wales since June 2003 when we purchased The Old Vicarage Nursing Home and then Bryn Ceirios Rest Home. In 2006 we acquired another two Care Homes namely The Bay Nursing Home and Oakdene Nursing Home (England), we specialise in Care of the Elderly.
The Company Director of Regency Homes is Mr Mike Griffiths who is based in Cheshire with his family. Mike is an accountant by profession and has considerable experience in Care Homes.
Sara Roberts is also a Director of Regency Homes, Sara is the Nominated Responsible Individual for our organisation, Sara has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and has gained considerable experience in Care of the Elderly and Management in Care Settings.
Gemma Williams is the Company Secretary for the organisation, Gemma leads the business administration team based in North Wales. Gemma has considerable experience in dealing with the finance of Care Homes for the Elderly.
Residents Charter
In our organisation of care homes all our residents will at all times enjoy:
- The right to a contract of residence, a service user’s guide and clear statement of terms and conditions to include costs of residency.
- The right to privately consult a solicitor, advisor or advocate and have the right to be represented when necessary to put forward their point of view.
- The right to Choice, Dignity, Respect, Confidentiality, Fulfilment and Privacy at all times and in all matters.
- The right to independence and protection from any form of discrimination.
- The right to participate or not as they so choose in the activities of their home and the community at large, and to improve their quality of life by developing new hobbies, interests and friendships.
- The right to receive visitors at any time.
- The right to retain the doctor of their own choice whenever possible, and to handle their own medicines when it is appropriate to do so.
- The right to have their care evaluated and discussed at regular intervals and given informed choices of available options for future care.
- The right to be given information about themselves, their condition and prospects and to be informed of the person ultimately responsible for their care.
- The right to make known any complaint directly to the Manager/Person in charge and, in the event of non-satisfaction, the right to refer same to the CSSIW/CSCI.
- The right to terminate their residency for any reason without recrimination.
All residents are encouraged to see our care homes as their home. They may expect to experience high levels of care and consideration from trained staff within a homely atmosphere. They may expect to move freely throughout all public areas, make use of all the facilities of their home and bring personal belongings to their home.
